If you could sum up the real reason so many fail at Affiliate Marketing, it would be this; NO PROPER TRAINING! Here is a common example…

Mark S., found out about affiliate marketing while surfing the net looking for a way to make income on a part-time basis.  After learning that he could make money online in the convenience of his home, he ordered about a dozen domain names from one of the domain name registrars, got a web hosting account that also provided a free website builder tool.

Eleven months later and Mark had not made one single solitary sale on any of his websites. Mark insisted that I take a look at what he was doing wrong and after three minutes of perusing two of his websites it was clear to me that he had no idea what he was doing concerning affiliate marketing.

That’s not a criticism, is just a statement of facts. On one website he had ads that had nothing to do with the niche he was promoting. In other words if you have a website whose focus is on Forex investing but all of the ads that show on your website have to do with obtaining credit cards, you will never make any money through affiliate marketing.

Another issue Mark was having was his keyword selection. He spent no time performing any real keyword research and it showed. To sum it up, he failed at affiliate marketing for the same reason most people fail, he had no training.
